The Return Gaza Association, founded to highlight the humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people and find lasting solutions, has officially launched its activities. The association’s name, derived from the words “return” (return) and “Gaza,” aims to fight for justice, the restoration of rights, and the protection of human dignity.
Alongside relief efforts that meet the basic needs of civilian victims of war, Return Gaza aims to rebuild life in Gaza through healthcare, education, housing, and psychosocial support projects. The association will also play an active role in media, law, and diplomacy to inform the international community of the human rights violations occurring in Gaza.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, we officially launched the process at our Istanbul office with the participation of Return of Gaza co-founder Mevlüt Kanber and other board members. To ensure the association’s legal status and institutional recognition, activities were implemented, such as registering and protecting the association’s name and official logo, and issuing identity cards to all board members, to formally begin the licensing process.
The association’s founders stated, ” Return Gaza is not just a relief organization, but also a movement of conscience. We seek to be the voice of Gaza, heal its wounds, and restore justice.” This meeting also represents an important step toward launching the association’s activities and strengthening its institutional presence to serve its future goals.
Return Gaza calls on supporting volunteers, civil society organizations, and international bodies to unite against injustice and promote a spirit of solidarity.
